Unless you will

As my search for unique and beautiful (online) magazines continues, I was pointed in the direction of the magazine 'Unless you will'.

The magazine, founded and created by full-time dreamer, photographer and designer Heidi Romano, is an online journal that presents engaging and enchanting photographs from notable photographers from around the world.

The images are a happiness measurement, a rekindled memory, a touch of nostalgia or trigger other emotions. Breathtakingly beautiful...

Homemade is best

Ikea's new cookbook 'Homemade is Best' presents ingredients in a visually stunning original and graphical way. Instead of focusing on the end product, Ikea takes the concept of ‘food that looks great’ to a completely other level and focuses on the ingredients. The presentation makes you respect and understand better what end products are made off, focusing on the real, good and simple.

To top it off with, Ikea also launched the Kondis iPhone app where food, fit and fun are brought together. The app tells you what you need to do to burn those calories off and can indulge guilt-free afterwards.

Butter licking good goes 2.0!

Petit bonheurs

Via Minna's blog, one of my all time favorites, I came across this beautiful blog filled with many, many pictures. The pictures present great style, just look at the amazing 'props' and products used in the pictures. Varying from a glitter hat to felt boots, and from a vintage card game to beautiful masks. For sure a blog that perfectly seems to resemble the honest, simple, stylish and, most of all, happy life...

Life is a beach

As it's getting warmer and warmer I find myself longing for a quick run on the beach and then dive in the ocean. Bringing summer home with the salty skin and sand between my toes being sweet souvenirs. Always having lived close by the ocean, at times I truly miss the air, waves, sand, sounds and breezy style that can only be found near the beach.

Realizing how much I miss it, and then seeing the beautiful images on Victoria's blog were like a nice fresh splash in the face, feeling like virtual evening skinny dipping. Especially on hot summer nights like these. Happy to have tomorrow off... guess where it will be spent? Life is a beach...!

Rebirth of summer

Only found out about this Hipstamatic contest today, beautiful pictures, great submissions! Just looking at these pictures is enough to instantly get into that easy breezy summer mode.

Oh, if you're interested in entering too, it’s not too late yet! You can enter your submission until June 5th! Enjoy the sunny weekend!

Lafayette

At first glance this may look like a painting, but this beautiful picture, almost a ton-sur-ton color scheme, captures Mies van der Rohe's Lafayette Tower West in Detroit.

Clumsy Bird

There's something about Claire's work that intrigues me. Claire's work appears on 'Words to shoot by' and Flickr. And there's more. Claire also shares her life, view and pictures of herself and her dad. Sweet.

Paris

Dream a little dream. Love the work of
Emilie, hope you do too.

Happy weekend

To celebrate the weekend, and to celebrate the 100th post - yay! - I thought I'd brighten it up with just a touch of sweet, sunny yellow.
All we need to do is, add some nice tunes, sit back and enjoy!

O Mia...

Polish photographers Szymon Roginski and Kasia Korzeniecka worked together on a project for the “O Mia O” spring/summer collection of Ania Kuczynska. They photographed the collection which they then cut up and transformed into 3d objects. The final result was photographed again and than used for the “O Mia O” collection. Wonderful effect!

Rhiannon Adam

These dreamy vintage-feel shots are taken by photographer Rhiannon Adam. It's almost as if I can touch my childhood... loving it!

Orange Pop Photography

The other day when I shared some of my photos here, some of you let me know you really enjoyed them (thank you!). So I thought I'd share another photo with you, one I took recently.
The atmosphere of the photo is just so dreamy, it makes me want to climb up there and enjoy the beauty of this autumn forest. It seems that the golden leaves are trying to embrace the tree house, trying to caress and protect it at the same time. It's already one of my favorites, I hope you'll like it too…

Spheres of fury

Tim Brown
and Christopher Hewitt teamed up and created this brillant video for Hecq Vs Exillion.

The video was shot with a Canon 7D - Canon should be so honored with this visual, a true compliment to what the new cam can do!

Polaroid week

As you may know I am totally crazy about Polaroid photography, and this week is my 'lucky week' as it's 'Roid Week over at Flickr. More than 1,500 Flickrians have uploaded their favorite Polaroid pictures. Enjoy & spread the Polaroid love.

Soft sweet skies

An amazing picture by the Ukraian Liquid Sunny day...

Run

Just love this image: the colours, the composition, the light, the contrast of the autumn nature versus the black high fashion outfit... beautiful.

Orange Pop Photography

Lately I've been taking many pictures again (old habits die hard) so I thought I'd 'surprise' you with some, being a little 'peek' in Orange Pop's life at the same time. For the blog I've combined indivial original pictures, making themed sets; each set consisting of three pictures.

If you're interested and would like to show these pictures on your site, please make sure to mention 'Orange Pop Design' including a link to this blog. For more information, just contact me via email. Thank you :)

Frozen beauty

With the intention of cleaing up, I was going through a huge stack of papers: images and pages torn from magazines, newspapers, flyers and business cards - things I like and love and 'need to do something with'. The above image was in that pile too, no idea what it was for anymore. After some browsing I found out it was taken by Dutch photographer Arjan Benning. There's something about it that makes me keep looking at it...

Balloons in the desert

I love the serene work of the Italian photographer Andrea Galvani!

Masqué

Ever since my first styling project, when I met Dutch photographer Marcel van der Vlugt, I've been hooked on everything he does! It's always somewhat sensual and mysterious; partly due to the grey-toned, balanced colors of the polaroids being the canvas of his work. If you haven't seen his photographs before, I really recommend checking out his site!
